While using social media, I discovered the garden table. That prompted me to learn about square foot gardening. Since I have such an interest in cooking, moving in to producing my own ingredients in the form of organic and responsibly grown herbs and vegetables was a logical progression for me.

This blog is a documentation of my accidental journey into gardening. Come join me.

I own Carolyn Malfara Web Design, Hosting and Domains. I started doing web design in 2004 to fill a need in my rural community for a local company to provide technology services. I am a full-time freelance web designer who specializes in creating clean and functional web pages. I have been in the industry for a decade and have loved helping my clients create something that reflects their business. The best part of my job is meeting new people, learning about their industry and creating a solution that takes care of a problem that they have.

I am a social media user, entrepreneur, designer, thinker and overall problem solver.

When I am not working, I enjoy gourmet cooking, reading, spending time with my family and visiting local and historical attractions. I devote a portion of my free time to volunteer work. As a believer in life-long learning, I also take classes to learn new skills and keep up with changes in technology. After many years in the industry as a web designer, I am currently working to become certified as a web developer. I look forward to the challenge of more complex projects and programming.
